Survivorship Program
Survivorship has many different meanings for different people. At Aventura Comprehensive Cancer Center, your survivorship starts from the moment you begin treatment and continues throughout your life. Preparation for survivorship entails recognizing that your feelings and attitudes about many things may change. This is normal. When treatment is completed, many patients wonder, “What’s next?” Our Survivorship Program helps patients answer these questions and many others. It entails complete oncology follow up services, psychosocial support services, Survivorship Group access and detailed discharge planning. Your treatment is only the beginning of your journey on the road to survivorship. With the assistance of the Treatment Team at Aventura Comprehensive Cancer Center, you are accompanied and supported every step of the way.
